| RVs are expensive vehicles that require similar services and maintenance to cars and trucks. The only difference? Neglecting your motor home can lead to repair bills far larger than for your personal vehicle! Some of the common motorhome chasis bodies we work on are Freightliner, Caterpillar, John Deere/Ford, Chevrolet & Workhorse.

- Recommended Maintenance Services: Tune up and engine performance. Belts, hoses, fluids

- Brakes: Inspect and repair brake systems

- Engines: Overhaul, repair and maintain. Oil leaks, runability/
drivability (rough running). Tune-ups, coolant leaks, gaskets

- Drivetrain: Axles, transmissions, drivelines, transfer cases, front & rear differentials, maintenance and repair
|
- Cooling systems: Hoses, belts, cooling system flush, radiators, cap, coolant leaks, waterpump, thermostat, fan and fan clutches
|
- Heating & Air Conditioning: Heater cores and control valves, A/C compressors, R134 conversions
|
- Electrical Repair: Inspect and replace: bulbs, door locks, windows, fuse box, wiring harnesses
|
- Emission testing and repairing: DEQ testing, catalytic convertor/muffler (exhaust)
|
- Starting & Charging Systems: Batteries, alternators, starters, charging systems
|
- Steering & Suspension: Pumps and steering gears, steering linkage, steering column repair, struts, shocks
|

- Check and change fluids at regular intervals.
|
- Change oil in larger engines every 3-4,000 miles on trips.
|
- Change oil in generators at least every 100 hours; better if every 50-60 hours.
|
- Drive your motorized RV around the block monthly (10-15 minutes after warm-up).
|
- Grease fittings on spring shackles for a quieter ride and less friction.
|
- Re-caulk every two years — especially on roof around luggage racks, fans, skylight, vent, etc. — to prevent leaks.
